Monday morning shootaround had Deandre Ayton hitting long range jumpers and Devin Booker getting a handful of shots up. You could tell Booker wishes he was back out there. It looked hard for him not to be on the floor for a normal practice.
Ayton missed shootaround yesterday but was at the arena afterward for a mandatory test. He will be starting tonight to face Boban Marjanovic, a 7’3” giant who gave Ayton a lot of problems during their last matchup.
“Dude is freakishly big,” Ayton said.
