Following news breaking about a potential Trevor Ariza trade last night, the deal fell apart shortly after because of confusion on trading the wrong ‘Brooks.’ Early this morning, a deal was made to send Ariza to the Wizards while the Suns would receive Kelly Oubre Jr. and Austin Rivers.
The Suns declined to speak on the issue this morning because the deal isn’t finalized yet, but head coach Igor Kokoskov did discuss that he has some say in the process of building a team.
