The NBA remains at the sport world's forefront in the fight for social justice in America.
The league will memorialize George Floyd in a moment of silence before its three first-round playoff games tonight, including Game 2 between the Los Angeles Lakers and Phoenix Suns, which tips off at 7 p.m., at Phoenix Suns Arena.
Floyd also will be remembered in playoff games featuring the Boston Celtics at Brooklyn Nets and Dallas Mavericks at Los Angeles Clippers Tuesday, both also second games in the series.
The Suns and NBA officials confirmed the plan to remember Floyd at the games.
