DETROIT – Phoenix still hasn’t won consecutive games this season.
The Suns concluded a four-game road trip with a 118-107 loss Sunday at Detroit despite Devin Booker scoring a game-high 37 points. Rookie 7-footer Deandre Ayton scored a career-high 25 points, but Phoenix was outscored 35-23 in the fourth quarter.
"Just a lot of miscues in that fourth quarter we can't afford," Suns reserve forward Richaun Holmes said. "A lot of turnovers. A lot of missed assignments on defense. We've just got to learn how to close the games out better."
Phoenix finished 1-3 on this road trip.
