Sources told Chris Haynes that associate head coach Kevin Young who served that role under Monty Williams will interview with the Suns as early as next week.
Young has been a member of the Suns for the last three seasons serving as an assistant before getting promoted to Williams’ right-hand man for the remainder of the season.
He has head coaching experience for the 76ers G-League team as he was the head coach for the Delaware 87ers back in 2014 before becoming an assistant coach for the 76ers back in 2017.
Young has gotten rave reviews from players Devin Booker and Chris Paul for helping change the culture as well as being very articulate with Xs and O’s.
