FLAGSTAFF – As a kid, Devin Booker dabbled using his left hand.
Shooting a little bit here. Dribbling a little bit there.
Nothing serious. Just having fun.
He's grown into an NBA star and franchise talent, but an injury to his prolific right shooting hand has forced the 21-year-old to exit stage left.
“It’s a time I actually have to use it,” Booker said Tuesday. “I never expected to actually have to use it.”
Watching him run through shooting, passing and dribbling drills with it in training camp this week with such focus and energy, Booker looks like a natural lefty.
