Fans of the Phoenix Suns finally got a chance to hear from a completely remade roster at their media day on Wednesday, and there was lots to like. Devin Booker is back and as focused as ever, claiming he has "unfinished business" in The Valley, while owner Mat Ishbia took ownership of the shortcomings of the last two seasons.
Although Kevin Durant has left town for the Houston Rockets, this was a day that drew a line in the sand on that era as the younger players spoke excitedly about the future. Many were eager to hear from lottery pick Khaman Maluach - the 10th overall selection this summer and who came to Phoenix as part of the Durant trade - and the 19-year-old did not disappoint.
