LAS VEGAS – On Oct. 27, former Louisville guard Kyle Kuric made five 3-pointers to help keep his Spanish league team, Gran Canaria, unbeaten.
His picturesque shooting stroke was still intact there in April, and, this past weekend here, he hit four 3-pointers for the Suns’ NBA Summer League team.
In the timeline gap beginning last November, Kuric nearly died.
The look of Kuric’s body, shooting ability and optimistic disposition says nothing for how he had a brain tumor removed and underwent two surgeries to save his life.
