Dario Saric planned to celebrate his 26th birthday Wednesday eating some cake on his balcony in Phoenix and talk to his family and friends on the phone.
He can’t do too much more than that as people are being asked to stay home because of the coronavirus pandemic.
“Nothing special, nothing crazy, especially during this time,” said Saric in a Q&A session with fans on NBA Instagram.
The birthday is a reminder that Saric is in the prime of his basketball career, but it hasn’t gone nearly as planned.
