MILWAUKEE – The short-handed Phoenix Suns couldn’t match the Milwaukee Bucks in Sunday’s 129-108 loss to the NBA’s top team before a sellout crowd of 17,754 at Fiserv Forum.

The Bucks (42-7) lost just 22 games last season in posting the NBA’s best record, Phoenix swept the home-away series. They fared much better against the Suns on Super Bowl Sunday as reigning MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo nearly posted a triple double of 28 points, 19 rebounds and nine assists.

Devin Booker led Phoenix with a game-high 30 points as the Suns (20-29) were without Ricky Rubio (right ankle soreness), Dario Saric (left ankle sprain), Tyler Johnson (left calf soreness) Aron Baynes (left hip soreness), Cam Johnson (right quad contusion) and Frank Kaminsky III (right patella stress fracture).
