New assistant coach Steve Blake played 13 NBA seasons as a point guard before retiring after the 2015-16 season.
Now set to begin his first NBA season as an assistant with the Suns, Blake foresees the newest Phoenix starting point guard making a huge difference in 2019-20.
“Management made some great changes for our roster this year,” said Blake on Glenn Clark Radio last week. “Ricky Rubio is an ultimate point guard, pass-first guy that’s gonna create and make guys have fun when they’re on the court.
