The once proud Phoenix Suns have become a franchise written off as a bottom-feeder for far too long and fans are desperate for an influx of talent – however they can get it – who can help lead the young core to the playoffs.
Of course General Manager James Jones could find that star player in the draft, but after sliding from potentially owning the first overall pick to now selecting sixth, the odds of that star being available to them are extremely slim.
That said, the pick can be utilized to acquire a valuable piece via trade, something that I for one am all for, and the team will not make a leap in the standings this season without a point guard to helm Monty Williams‘ new offense.
