All season long, the Phoenix Suns have been one of the worst teams in the NBA during the 4th quarter, and tonight against the Dallas Mavericks proved to be no different.
After they erased a 15-point deficit, Phoenix entered the 4th with a one-point lead. However, just a couple minutes later, the Mavericks stormed out of the gates with a quick 15-4 run. From there, they did not look back, outscoring the Suns 37-22 in the final 12 minutes.
Luka Doncic, who has been known for his stellar performances against the Suns, delivered a season-high 50 points on 8-16 shooting from beyond the arc.
