Deandre Ayton didn’t know what was happening, but it led to him watching the rest of Phoenix’s crazy overtime win Saturday at New Orleans from the visiting locker room.
Ayton received his first NBA ejection after getting called for a second technical foul. Ayton came into the game having been called for one technical in 64 games.
“I didn’t even know I got ejected at first,” the rookie 7-footer said after the game. “I did not know.
