Phoenix Suns overcome slow start in avenge rout of Washington Wizards

Phoenix Suns woke up in the second half in routing Washington, 134-106, Saturday night before 5,029 fans at Phoenix Suns Arena.

Avenging a January loss at Washington, Phoenix bounced back from a road loss to the Los Angeles Clippers in the second of a marquee back-to-back that began with an overtime home win over NBA-leading Utah Jazz.

Devin Booker scored a game-high 27 to lead Phoenix (27-15) while Mikal Bridges added 15 as eight Suns reached doubles.

Deandre Ayton, Cameron Payne and Jevon Carter each scored 14 points, Chris Paul posted 13 points and 10 assists while Cam Johnson and Jae Crowder added 12 and 11 points, respectively.
