Ricky Rubio needed more than a few months to get the rest of his teammates to speak fluent Spanish before the Phoenix Suns ventured to Mexico City.
"It's going to take me like two seasons to get them right," Rubio joked.
Rubio's rookie teammate, Cam Johnson, has never been to Mexico City. So he looked to "brush up" on the language by listening to the veteran point guard, who is from Spain.
"My Spanish is OK," Johnson said. "I took it in high school, but haven't taken it since.
