Devin Booker stood right inside a tense, crowded moment between Jae Crowder and Julius Randle with a noticeable smile.
Being on the losing end for five seasons, Booker said he's been "waiting on" games like Friday's chippy 128-103 comeback win over New York.
"I'm enjoying the journey, I'm enjoying the process," Booker said after Saturday's practice. "Always remember what it was in the past and that's motivation to keep going and having fun with it."
The Suns (48-19) will continue this journey Sunday at the defending NBA champion Los Angeles Lakers (37-30), who are looking to avoid the play-in tournament, but find themselves in the seventh spot after Friday's loss at Portland.
