Phoenix Suns General Manager James Jones heard fans urging him to make a move before Thursday’s trade deadline came and went.
Loud and clearly, but the Suns stayed pat.
“I get it, the fans always want you to make a move,” Jones said. “It’s exciting to think about the trade deadline or think about the possibilities, but at that point and time, once you hit that mark, you decide what you can do to improve your team. If you do something, you move forward. If you don’t, you focus on the things you set out to do, which is to finish the season strong.
