Phoenix Suns fall to Utah Jazz in NBA preseason opener without Chris Paul, Dario Saric, Jae Crowder

The Phoenix Suns opened their preseason schedule with 119-105 loss Saturday night to Utah at Vivint Smart Home Arena.

Jordan Clarkson scored a game-high 19 points as the Jazz had six players score in double figures.

The Suns trailed 62-51 at the half as the Jazz attempted 31 shots from 3 (made 12) in the first half. Clarkson went 5-of-9 from deep in the first half in scoring 15 points in half.

Langston Galloway led the Suns with 17 points, all coming in the second half off the bench.

Devin Booker added 16 points and six assists while Mikal Bridges chipped in 14 points.
