University of Arizona center Deandre Ayton said the Suns haven’t promised him he’ll be the No. 1 pick in the June 21 NBA draft.
But he’s certain he’ll be the first named called by NBA Commissioner Adam Silver.
“I know I’m going Number 1,” Ayton said after his workout with the Suns Wednesday.
To accentuate that point, Ayton said he won’t work out for any other team before the draft.
