Led by a strong night from their starting five, the Phoenix Suns took down the injury-plagued Portland Trail Blazers with a final score of 127-116.
After the Blazers initially jumped out to a 7-point lead, thanks to Doup Reath’s 11 points in the 1st quarter, the Suns began to start their shooting rhythm in the 2nd.
Bradley Beal, who made a career high of eight three-pointers against the Lakers a couple of days ago, went 4-6 from behind the arc for 23 points.
By halftime, the Suns had jumped out to a 10-point lead as they scored 40 in the second quarter.
