Last time Deandre Ayton was on the court in an NBA game, he was grabbing at his ankle after injuring it in an March 3 home loss to Toronto.
A week later, the 2019-20 season was put on hold when Utah Jazz center Rudy Gobert tested positive for COVID-19.
That image of Ayton being helped off the court into the hallways of Talking Stick Resort Arena could've been the last one this season for Phoenix's second-year big man, but he and the Suns will get another opportunity to play in the resumption at Walt Disney World.
He's more than excited about that.
