Memphis avenged a home loss to Phoenix (11-13) as Dillon Brooks and Jaren Jackson Jr. combined for 51 points in leading the Grizzlies (8-16) to a victory.
The Griz scored 50 points in the paint and churned out 32 bench points as Desert Vista graduate Brandon Clarke had 15 on 5-of-6 shooting. Frank Kaminsky scored a season-high 24 for the Suns while Ricky Rubio added 22 and eight assists.
Devin Booker managed only 15 on 16 shot attempts (made seven).
