Monty Williams started Mikal Bridges at the four along with Ricky Rubio, Devin Booker, Kelly Oubre Jr. and Deandre Ayton and they set the tone for Phoenix's 133-104 crushing of Dallas on Tuesday night before a sellout crowd of 20,216 at American Airlines Center.
Deandre Ayton hit his first 11 shots in scoring a season-high 31 points as the Suns (20-27) now have more wins than they had all of last season.
The Suns have closed games with that group, but Williams started with them and led by as many as 13 in the first quarter.
