No excuses.
They no longer exist for Devin Booker.
The Suns have gone $16 million over the salary cap to give Booker the best roster he’s ever had in Phoenix starting with one of the all-time greats at the point guard position.
He’ll have the same head coach for a second straight season.
He’ll be practicing in a new $45-million facility and playing in an arena that’s underwent a $230-million renovation project.
And oh yeah, he’s better.
Entering his sixth NBA season, Booker is now an All-Star and played like a superstar in leading the Suns to a perfect 8-0 bubble run that has their fans truly believing for the first time in a long time the playoff drought will finally end.
