Phoenix Suns center Deandre Ayton is predicted to win the Rookie of the Year award along with Cleveland Cavaliers guard Collin Sexton in a survey of NBA rookies conducted by NBA.com.
Ayton, who was picked No. 1 overall out of the University of Arizona in the 2018 NBA draft, and Sexton each received 18 percent of the vote.
Sexton was selected with the No. 8 overall pick out of Alabama.
Ayton also earned some other recognition in the survey, as did his Suns teammate, Mikal Bridges.
Ayton finished tied for third in the "Which rookie will have the best career?
