The Phoenix Suns have struggled out the gates to a 1-4 start, but injuries to some of their starters have not helped them be as competitive as they can be when fully healthy. Jalen Green is yet to suit up having come over from the Houston Rockets, while Dillon Brooks has missed the last couple with groin soreness.
Even when head coach Jordan Ott has a full compliment of players to choose from, this team is still going to struggle on both ends of the court. Yet it is the defensive end where he had hoped to be better right away, but right now the Suns are allowing more points per game than everybody not named the Toronto Raptors and Brooklyn Nets.
