Looking back at Suns road back-to-back split; ahead to Monday at Washington

Phoenix is just 10 games into this NBA-shortened 72-game season, but showed in its latest victory why Monty Williams uses the word "special" when talking about this team.

After blowing a 23-point lead in a road overtime loss Friday at Detroit, the Suns faced a much tougher opponent in the second of a road back-to-back Saturday in Indiana.

Tough. Talented. Physical.

That Domantas Sabonis is a beast.

The Suns (7-3) found themselves in another close game the Pacers seemed poised to pull out in the fourth quarter.

Not this time.

Phoenix turned what was a slim two-point lead into a 15-point edge with 3:54 left on the strength of a 17-4 run that proved to be the difference in its 125-117 win.
