Jerry Colangelo shares special memories about 2020 HOF inductee Kobe Bryant

Jerry Colangelo vividly remembers a skinny, but extremely confident 17-year old high school kid from Philadelphia coming to Phoenix for a pre-draft workout in 1996.

Kobe Bryant.

"He just knew he was really special," the former Suns team owner said. "No one could've predicted everything that's happened, obviously, and the career that he had, but you had a strong feeling this guy was very, very special."

Colangelo found himself reliving those moments and many more as the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame introduced its 2020 class Saturday on ESPN headlined by the late, great Bryant, Tim Duncan and Kevin Garnett.
