Former Suns guard Jamal Crawford can give Nets more than buckets, crossover in NBA restart

Jamal Crawford is 40 years old, but doesn't look his age at all.

Sure didn't play like it either in his last game – an historic 51-point night that nearly stole the show in Dirk Nowitzki's final home game last season for the Dallas Mavericks.

Crawford became the oldest player in NBA history to post a 50-point game, surpassing Hall of Famer Michael Jordan, who did it at age 38 in 2001 with Washington.

He's a year and three months removed from that historic night, but will get an opportunity to make new memories as Crawford is joining the Brooklyn Nets, The Arizona Republic confirmed through league sources Wednesday night.
