Former Suns guard Isaiah Canaan confident he'll be ready by training camp

Six seconds remained in the first quarter against the Mavericks, and Isaiah Canaan of the Suns was using his speed to beat the buzzer by going the length of the court. The defense began to suck into the paint with 4.1 seconds left.

Life is all about decisions, and Canaan could either pass to Troy Daniels in the left corner, who used both arms to signal he was open, or could go up against the bigger defenders and hope for a foul. The guard chose the latter and got what he wanted from Wesley Matthews with 2.9 seconds on the clock.
