Former Phoenix Suns general manager Ryan McDonough is questioning the Phoenix Suns' decision to sell their G League team, Northern Arizona Suns, on Twitter.
In just his second tweet from the @McDNBA Twitter account, McDonough tweeted he "wouldn't recommend" being without a G League when having "the youngest roster" in the NBA.
"I wouldn't recommend having the youngest roster in the NBA without owning a G League team, especially if your plan is to develop the 11th-15th players on your team in actual NBA games. We tried something similar from 2016-18 and the on-court results weren't exactly stellar.
