Boris Diaw is hanging up his basketball sneakers for good.

The 36-year-old power forward officially announced his retirement from the league on Thursday on Twitter.

"This is it... It was a good run," Diaw posted with a video montage of his career highlights and good times spent with his fellow French players Tony Parker and Ronny Turiaf.

Born as Boris Babacar Diaw-Riffiod, Diaw played 14 seasons in the league with five different teams. He was 21st pick in the 2003 NBA draft by the Atlanta Hawks. He also played for the Charlotte Hornets, Toronto Raptors, Phoenix Suns, San Antonio Spurs, and Utah Jazz.
