Former Louisville star recovers from brain surgery and will play in Suns summer league

One brain tumor and multiple brain surgeries won't stop former Louisville standout Kyle Kuric from getting back on the court.

Per The Courier-Journal, pro basketball reporter David Pick released the news of Kuric's return saying he will play in the Phoenix Suns summer league in Las Vegas, which runs from July 8th-18th.

Keep in mind, this news comes just months after Kuric underwent emergency surgery to remove a brain tumor.

While playing this past season for Gran Canaria in Spain, Kuric started having serious headaches, leading to his diagnosis.

The 26-year-old was diagnosed with a benign brain tumor in November, when he underwent his first surgery to have it removed.
