Steve Kerr’s recent comparison of the Footprint Center to a South Beach night club continues to garner support, with Evan Fournier of the New York Knicks becoming the latest player to endorse the Warriors head coach’s statement.
After Fournier got done playing in Phoenix last week, Fournier recalled his experience at the Footprint Center: “Btw, Phoenix’s arena definitely feels like a club. Kerr was right.”
The saga of Kerr’s comments on the Suns arena expanded all the way to a DJ remixing the clip in a halftime show during one of the Suns games last week.
The Footprint Center’s social media account even changed its bio for a short period of time to “Downtown Phoenix’s newest South Beach club.
