On September 10th, news came out that Phoenix Suns star guard Devin Booker had surgery on the fifth metacarpophalangeal joint in his right hand.
His shooting hand.

Sound the alarms.
Or should we actually look at this news and…smile?
Not that someone got hurt – that would be a pretty awful reason.
However, this bad news, when looked at and dissected in a positive light, is actually in a way helpful to Booker, the team, and the fans.
Phoenix had a very active summer – one full of moves in the right direction.
