Last night, the Phoenix Suns were up 106-100 over the Houston Rockets with just under a minute to go, and the ball was right where they wanted it: in Devin Booker’s hands to ice the game.
The only problem? Booker had made six 3s prior to this. He put up a 3-pointer, and it was no good. All time, Booker is now an astounding 0-for-37 from deep when he has six made 3s in the regular season.
The Suns (35-24) still ended up winning 110-105 over the Rockets (24-35) behind Booker’s 35 points and seven rebounds, but this stat is mind boggling.
