Devin Booker, Elfrid Payton provide hope amid Suns' seventh straight loss

SALT LAKE CITY – There was a strange sound in the Suns’ locker room late Wednesday night.

Laughter.

Tyson Chandler was being ribbed about his choice of deodorant. Josh Jackson jokingly ripped Devin Booker for having Nike shower sliders. The mood was buoyant and as Booker sat in front of his locker, he smiled and said, “I can’t wait for the All-Star break to be over with so we can get back out there.”

That might seem a strange sentiment, given the Suns have lost seven straight games and 12 of 13 after falling to the Utah Jazz, 107-97, at Vivint Smart Home Arena.
