The Phoenix Suns rebounded from Monday's disappointing loss at Memphis with an 109-103 win Wednesday night at Houston in a game televised on ESPN.
Deandre Ayton posted a second consecutive monster double-double of 26 points and 17 rebounds as the Suns (8-6) snapped a two-game losing skid.
"He was a monster for us tonight," Suns coach Monty Williams said about Ayton, who also had five blocks.
Ayton went for 18 and 16 in Monday's 108-104 defeat at Memphis on Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
With Phoenix only up 103-101, Wednesday night, Ayton got a huge offensive rebound and hit two free throws after getting fouled to increase the lead to four.
