Chimezie Metu calls foul on Devin Booker’s early All-Star votes

In case you missed it; Suns’ guard Devin Booker was surprisingly absent from the NBA’s top-10 guards in early All-Star fan voting.

Apparently, at least to the fans, there are 10 other guards better than Devin Booker in the Western Conference alone.

While the initial voting results may reflect only the early stages of fan participation and contribute only 50% to the overall consideration for All-Star selection, the fact that Booker trails behind guards like Ja Morant, who has played only 8 games, and Austin Reaves, averaging just 15 points per game, raises eyebrows regarding the idea of fan voting.
