Either way, that's less than what Chris Paul would make if he picks up his one-year player option for $44.2 million to stay with the Phoenix Suns next season.
So Barkley couldn't seem himself declining that option, even after a night on the town.
"Well, you know I like to drink, right," Barkley said during a Zoom media call Wednesday for the American Century Championship at Edgewood Tahoe Golf Course at Lake Tahoe.
