Phoenix Suns work out power forward Clint Capela, to draft?

In today's Suns news update, the Phoenix Suns may have found a power forward that they are willing to spend their 18th overall pick in June's NBA Draft on.

Swiss power forward Clint Capela has been coveted by NBA scouts for quite some time. At six-foot-eleven with a 88.5" wingspan, Capela has all of the size necessary to compete at the NBA level.

Per Suns coach Jeff Hornacek, he also has the skills.

“When a guy rolls to the basket … probably one of the hardest things for a big guy is to catch the ball,” Hornacek said, via Kevin Zimmerman of FanSided. “The point guard has to put it in a position – he has to get it by a bunch of hands."

“(Capela) snagged a couple of passes that were maybe a little behind him that maybe a big doesn’t grab,” Hornacek continued. “Maybe it’s the length of his arms, maybe it was his strong hands. That was impressive.”

Capela is currently projected to land somewhere near the 19th pick of the 2014 NBA Draft - one pick the Phoenix Suns at 18.
