Goran Dragic vs. Eric Bledsoe debate highlights today's Suns news update

In today's Suns news update, one Phoenix Suns writer is trying to determine which starting guard the Suns should hinge their futures on if they are forced to choose - Goran Dragic or Eric Bledsoe.

According to Jim Coughenour of SBNation.com, with both players exhibiting talent levels which could very well reach the level of the elite, one thing to perhaps take into account is each player's personality:

"Bledsoe has a more reticent demeanor and doesn't score nearly as high as Dragic in terms of his people skills," writes Coughenour. "When I picture Bledsoe he has a very austere look on his face. While Dragic is loyal to a fault, Bledsoe doesn't seem to have made a firm bond here. Bledsoe could easily go down the road and it wouldn't really feel like he was worth more than a brief mention in the story of the Suns, whereas Goran has already left a bit of an imprint."

In the end of his piece, however, Coughenour asserts that "neither player has risen above the other to an extent that one can make a definitive argument that the Suns should obviously build around one, making the other completely expendable."

That could very well end up working in the Phoenix Suns' favor down the road, either if they decide to keep the two together or use on as trade collateral.
