As the season comes to an end, as does my tenure as your Roadrunners beat writer for FiveForHowling. So I wanted to take this time to say “Thank You.”
I moved to Tucson four years ago to study sports journalism at the University of Arizona. At the time there was no professional hockey in southern Arizona, only the University club team. Then, the Roadrunners came to town the following year and I began freelancing reports on them as well as the UofA team.
I took me a while until I finally began here at this community, transferring from the in-state Arizona Wildcats’ sister SBNation site, AZ Desert Swarm.
