The NHL season draws ever closer which means it is time for another “NHL Injury Roundup”.

With another week of pre-season games in the books, rosters are being reduced. That does not slow down the flow of injuries. In some cases, the injuries increase leaving some teams in precarious situations. There are still quite a few roster battles taking place among teams and even some roles that could be redefined. Here are a few of the more notable injuries this week.
Ryan Poehling (Montreal Canadiens)
Poehling suffered a concussion from a collision in the game against the Florida Panthers.
