After taking the Colorado Avalanche, one of the best teams in the league, to overtime, the Arizona Coyotes had another difficult challenge on Tuesday. The Winnipeg Jets are a bit of a mystery this season, but they are still not a team to be taken likely. But after allowing the first goal, the Coyotes were able to bounce back and thanks to a stellar second period the Desert Dogs walked out with two points in their first win against the Jets in Winnipeg.
Conor Garland would get things going for the Coyotes, and in a flip of the normal script, he managed to score with less than a minute left in the first period.
