Coyotes' Darcy Kuemper stops 36 shots, Canada in gold medal game at world championship

The remarkable turnaround for Canada at the International Ice Hockey Federation World Championship continued Saturday in Riga, Latvia, with the national team's 4-2 win over the United States in the semifinals.

Arizona Coyotes goaltender Darcy Kuemper had 36 saves for Canada, stopping six shots on goal from Coyotes teammate Conor Garland. Kuemper also assisted on a Canada goal early in the third period.
