Christian Dvorak, Derek Stepan, Arizona Coyotes back on ice for limited voluntary workouts

The start of the next NHL season has yet to be made official, but it's starting to feel like hockey again at Gila River Arena.

A group of nine Arizona Coyotes players -- with more expected in the coming days -- has been on the ice for daily voluntary workouts that started Monday. In accordance with the NHL preseason training protocol, the players are being tested for COVID-19 and are allowed to go through workouts and on-ice practice time with no more than 12 players allowed on the ice at one time.

The workouts have taken place in the mornings, with players Christian Dvorak, Phil Kessel, Clayton Keller, Jordan Oesterle, Alex Goligoski, Derek Stepan and Jordan Gross and goaltenders Darcy Kuemper and Adin Hill taking part.
