The performance and display on-and-off the pitch by the Union Academy was all worthy of praise at the Development Academy Winter Showcase. Both the U17s and U19s walked away undefeated, earning seven points in three matches. Both teams also pulled off impressive wins against top-ranked opponents from the West.
Academy Director Tommy Wilson was extremely happy with what he saw from both teams, while also expressing gratitude for the tournament's host.
"The players on and off the pitch represented us with a great deal of class and style," Wilson said. "I’d also like to compliment the staff for making sure things went well behind the scenes.
