West Chester United falls to Clarkstown SC Eagles in NPSL playoffs

West Chester United lost by a familiar scoreline in the National Premier Soccer League playoffs in North Jersey on Wednesday night.

No. 2 seed Clarkstown topped third-seeded West Chester United 1-0 after winning by the same scoreline in the regular season finale on Sunday.

Clarkstown will face regular season Keystone Conference champions New Jersey Copa in the conference final on Saturday. New Jersey Copa edged Electric City Shock 2-1 on Tuesday with a stoppage time goal in the other conference semifinal.

West Chester United started its first season in the NPSL unbeaten in its first six games, but finished with just one win in the last five, losing 4-1 to Hershey FC, twice to Clarkstown SC Eagles while being held to a 2-2 draw by Buxmont Torch.
